"Staff amazingly helpful , breakfast very poor, but overall a great experience. Was cheapest hotel on a weekend of the London marathon and very convenient for Russell Square Underground. Staff very helpful."

"Rooms are old and outdated. No fridge or usb outlets in room. Construction in lobby which was noisy would have liked to know ahead of time"

"This hotel has an amazing location but it stops there. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. The king bed is just two twin beds sandwiched together with a very uncomfortable seem in the middle. Mattresses are so old that the springs are gone. Hotel is dated and in need of upgrades. Moths flying around the halls and annoying cleaning staff that still knocks when you have do not disturb sign on. I saw a very fast moving insect in my bathroom on the last day. Would not recommend staying here. AC and fridge both very loud. Toilet runs. Not sure how this is even 4 star"

"Spotlessly clean through out the hotel. Delicious breakfast. Reception staff, so very friendly and helpful. Concierge amazingly helpful. Stayed here often, many years ago and we are back and not going anywhere else."

"A handy stay for flights from T4 at LHR and easy walk through connecting bridge to the terminal so keeps you dry in bad weather. Room was adequate but a little worn in places. Breakfast was good and a nice inclusion for all stays."
