Hotel Riu Plaza London The Westminster

Hotel Riu Plaza London The Westminster

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent stay at the RIU Plaza Westminster London. The room was clean, comfortable, and a nice size. The breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay, with a great selection every morning. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Westminster and other attractions, yet the area remains quiet and relaxing. A great choice for anyone visiting London."

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle

8/10 Good
"Our room was not ready until 6:00 p.m. After a 9-hour flight, we were exhausted, and my little girl even fell asleep on the couch in the lobby while we waited. We were told the delay was due to the room being under construction, but I did not see any construction near the area where the room was located was in front at the entrance. The room also did not have an air-conditioning system, making it extremely hot and uncomfortable. We had to request a fan just to make the room bearable. Despite these issues, the hotel is in a great location with convenient access to public transportation."

Sofitel London Heathrow

Sofitel London Heathrow

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Sofitel London Heathrow at both the beginning and end of our European trip, and it became a wonderfully comfortable bookend to our travels. The staff were consistently kind, welcoming and helpful. Everything throughout the hotel was exceptionally clean, fresh, and beautifully maintained. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, especially the beds. The chair/recliner may honestly be the most comfortable chair I have ever encountered in a hotel room! The slippers were a simple but appreciated touch for tired travelers, and the shower with full-body jets felt more like a spa experience. Breakfast was delicious. The omelette chef was personable, and I loved the wonderfully international variety, which encouraged me to try several new things. We also enjoyed dinner at La Belle Époque. The soufflé was incredible—an unusual-sounding combination that turned out to be a beautiful balance of flavors and textures. Even the breads and two different butters were memorable. Who knew seaweed butter would become a favorite? The salads were fresh and crisp with a delightful lemon vinaigrette. Beginning and ending our journey here was perfect: a restful start to our adventure and a welcome respite before the long flight home. We would happily stay again."

Park Plaza London Riverbank

Park Plaza London Riverbank

8/10 Good
"Booked and paid for a river view room. Was initially placed on the 3rd floor with a view mainly of trees and a sliver of the river. As this was a special trip for us (our anniversary) I went back to the front desk and spoke to a gentleman named Mudra (I think) who listened carefully and quite kindly on the 12th floor with a lovely view. Kudos for that."
