"Small rural town but several good places to eat, staff recommended some. Chose this town on visit to see the famous mounds because of low crime rates compared to many other towns in the region, perhaps it is because Henderson town has a religious college. Room was quite clean, though maybe some chipped paint, a little carpet fraying, worn edges on some furniture. Heat pump worked perfect, with digital controls. Pictures of lobby and rooms are accurate. Pool was drained as it was not yet open...

"Hotel is definitely old and could use some remodeling. Very basic no frills. But for the price and a one night stay it was sufficient. Bed was pretty comfortable and the room was clean. Although being on the 1st floor you could hear every step in the room above us but thankfully that didnt interrupt our sleep. The staff at the front desk were very kind and they have some beautiful plants in the lobby. They have coffee, bananas and honey buns in the morning which was nice. Area felt safe also....
