"Nice area, room was clean and spacious but needs an update. Staiway and deck needs serious painting. Cute restaurant nearby was a plus! Front desk ladies were wonderful! Enjoyed decor in lobby! Great location for all nearby attractions!"

"The Roosevelt is a very interesting hotel. All the sayings on the hallway walls, the sayings on the elevator doors were very interesting. So many things to do around the hotel (besides seeing Mt. Rushmore!). Plan to spend several days there and visit the town. A great breakfast was served. On the downside, the bathroom was very small and the mattress was a little too firm for my body."

"The room had a very mountain feel. Very nice decor. Only issue was that both beds felt like sleeping in a bowl. Maybe broken in the middle? Besides the bed the room was very nice. Restaurant was also very good and reasonably priced. "
