「Super quaint. Although there is no front desk the check-in process was simple.The owners were quick to respond to my questions. Parking was simple.」

「What a great place to stay!! Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! A delicious breakfast off the menu was free every morning and they discounted all our other meals we bought there. The owners are awesome along with their staff! Also close to everything you would want to see in the rapid city area!」

「This historic house is beautifully maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. We had the attic room which is extra large and has an amazing spa shower. The proprietors took great care to prepare a wonderful breakfast each morning. Loved our stay at 1899!」

You felt like you were staying in a luxury hotel. Can’t say enough about the end keepers and how helpful they were when we got there. Added plus the best pillows I’ve ever slept on.」

「Well checking in was a joke, the people live in the property that has a dog on it and the house smell like kennel and poop water. The only bathroom the door doesn't shut all the way close but locks. The door you can see thru the crack to the toilet and shower are. Then while shower heard the owner and husband talking about water and then the water got turned off on me. 「I tried calling owner several times throughout day we were arriving to tell them we were going to be close to end of check in time. No one answered and voice mail box was full so couldn’t leave a message. I messaged the owner thru Expedia as well with no response. We got there and lights were on in the house and in back.
