"Mayor Lord's is a lovely property. The carriage house is spacious and lovingly decorated. However, with an absent host by design it is a rather cold place. I understand the concerns surrounding Covid, and the desire for a contactless B&B, but it makes a sterile atmosphere. The $10 voucher is an attempt at breakfast. The over riding charm of a B&B is the interaction among the guests and the host. All that being said I would like to stay there in 2025 when my grandson graduates."

"If you are looking for a clean, inexpensive place to stay for a night, this is a hdden gem. Right on the highway into Newcastle, close to Pittsburgh, the room we had was clean and, unlike many older motels, had no musty smell. We thought the highway noise might be an issue, but it wasnt. The air/heat fan was a bit noisy, but was effective and was white noise overnight. The beds were firm but ok, good pillows.
