「We had booked for two nights and we left after the first night. The place is uninhabitable and we needed to find lodgings elsewhere. There were no blankets and we were cold in the night, no hot water, only 3 pillows while we were four people. There were bugs all over the room and a nasty smell. There was dog poop and dog pee all over the common areas. Definitely do not recommend」

「I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was genuinely the worst hotel stay I’ve experienced despite extensive international travel. The biggest issue was safety and connectivity. There was essentially no Wi-Fi and almost no cellular reception, making it extremely difficult — and honestly concerning — to contact anyone, get directions, or access help when needed. 「Such a cute little space. Found some interesting creatures in the room but we sort of expected that being where it is. Other than that, we loved the space, location, the wonderful workers and the outdoor kitchen. It does get quite loud from the club across so when you go, expect that but this has nothing to do with the hotel. Would definitely go back! (And buy better ear plugs) 😅」

「Our stay was absolutely perfect! The room was spotless and comfortable even better than the description and pictures. We both had a blast going to the tulum ruins and having a light breakfast everyday by the ocean. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Hands down one of my favorite trips ever thanks to Villa pescadores. 」

Daniel and Fernado who run the hotel were amazing and took care of everything we needed. They set up massages for our group and a yoga class and connected us with a boat excursion that was great. Wel is de kwaliteit niet altijd perfect en verwacht geen luxe hotelkamer, het is meer een hele luxe camping in dat opzicht. Maar het past daarentegen wel bij de ongedwongen sfeer van het hotel en de omgeving. Toch zou het fijn zijn als je iets meer preventief onderhoud wordt gepleegd aan bijv het onderhoud van de douche, veel kalkaanslag en lage waterdruk. Maar ook het dompelbad van de kamer zaten...
