Beautiful property by the beach. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It’s ideally located close to many great restaurants, beach clubs, cenotes and lagoons. Staff was helpful in arranging transportation from and to the airport, they also helped renting ATVs to use in the city.

What a beautiful property. Perfect location on the beach. I loved the boho vibe, being able to walk straight out from my room onto my porch and enjoy both jungle and beach. The staff were amazing, massages sublime, location - you need a bike (which I hired) or download InDrive for taxi service. Breakfast was simple and the food at lunch/dinner was varied and freshly cooked. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful room! Fantastic restaurant delicious food! Best beach lounge chairs in the hotel zone and the pool makes the beach club exquisite. This is my fourth time to Tulum this year and my favorite hotel. Honestly, I could not have been more pleased with the property the service and especially my absolutely stunningly beautiful cabin. I definitely will be back!

This was my first time staying at Quamar. It's right in the beach and they are cute "hut like" rooms. Its very rustic. Cute small swimming pool facing the ocean, with lay out beds and umbrellas, too. I was very comfortable here. The staff and owners were very kind, and always ready to help accommodate in any way they could. The food and drinks were VERY GOOD too! Shout out to Santos for his excellent cocktails. Two thumbs up! The only feedback that I'd give to management is to 1) maybe consider spraying insect spray in and around the rooms as I encountered a few crickets and a water roach. I totally understand that this might be a common problem since the property is on the beach, but that would make Quamar even a better place to stay. The last thing I want to see are insects roaming around my room because I immediately freak out, and 2) it would be very helpful for the staff up front, at chrck in, to let the guests know how to get around, beside taxis as they charge triple the amount than if you just jump on a local van and pay 25 pesos to go down the street vs. $35 US. We had to figure it out on on our. To summarize, its a wonderful place to stay!

I loved the hotel and service they provided. Although from the moment I checked in - I was told I would be in a different room which sort of upset me - they offered us a welcome mimosa and then told me we would be in a different room which made me happier and they told us we would be moved to the original room by day 2 of our stay. On day 3, we were moved to another room which was honestly better because the AC in the 2nd room did not work as well. They use WhatsApp to communicate and meet your needs and are respond quickly with your needs. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the drinks! I also got massages and they were one of the best messages I’ve gotten by the beach. The only thing I would say is to watch out for roaches, crabs, and insects in the room. Personally I don’t like insects or animals in the room but if you’re up for that then you’ll love this hotel! Also - they help out with transportation from the airport to the hotel. Thank you Qamar for making Tulum an enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well. The staff was always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. The beachfront location and ocean view were beautiful and created a very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has a unique, peaceful vibe that made our vacation special. The only downside was the large amount of seaweed on the beach, but we understand that this is a natural seasonal issue and not something the hotel can control. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again.

Very nice place. Great staff, pretty good food and drinks. Was a little bummed we weren’t able to go into the ocean due to the sargassum problem, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Ac in the room wasn’t the best, and we did have a few critter’s in the room, but… we are surrounded by water and trees so it was somewhat expected. Other than that, everything was great!

The staff was very helpful, and the property was clean. I would like to stress that the staff was extremely great throughout our stay. They helped us book tours with discounts, they moved our luggage, and were very prompt when communicating and solving issues. Our frustrations are centered on maintenance and upkeep of the huts. I would like to note that we had quite a few issues. We had to change rooms one night into our five night stay because the first room (#2) the AC was not working properly and some of the windows were not fully covered. Due to the integrity of the Huts, the air was not contained. Although the integrity was much better in our second room, it was still only cool/cold directly in front of the AC. Maintenance needs to be done on the roofing. The power turned on and off multiple times throughout the night, therefore the AC would turn off and the room would quickly heat up. On our last day, the water shut off, and we were not able to shower until later in the morning. Something else to know: the $50 included restaurant/dinner credit is only utilized when ordering a dinner entree. This is not just a restaurant credit. Additionally, this does not impact my rating, but please note that we found a scorpion, multiple lizards, multiple crabs, and lots of bugs. We also found bugs in the bed quite a few times. I understand this is a beach hut type property so some bugs may be natural, but there were quite a few critters inside of the room.

The hotel is cute with the Tulum touch, a place to relax and enjoy nature. The cabins are well equiped, good a/c. The small beach area with the pool are a plus. Restaurant need to improve and have all the ingredients. I ordered 3 meals and they couldn't make it. Meal prices are high 20-30 usd and portions are small. Staff are great and ready to help anytime. People at the lobby are great and will give you good recommendations to make the best out of the Tulum experience. I would return if I decide to visit the area.

SUCH A CUTE PLACE. Clean, has AC, lovely staff, amazing location- close to everything, very good pricing, has WiFi, has parking. No complaints! Will definitely come back here again. Just a heads up, “breakfast included” is just coffee/ OJ and a bread/pastry basket- everything else for a fee. Overall highly recommend.
