「We were greeted by a very rude receptionist, Carolina Vazquez, who informed us that our reserved room was unavailable and gave us a lower category room without the cenote view we had booked. Two hours later, we discovered that the air conditioning in that room was also not working. Despite reporting it immediately, it was still not fixed 24 hours later. we requested to change rooms, we were made to wait **an entire hour**, without even being offered water, which was especially disappointing...

「The hotel is beautiful, lush and in a great location. The pool could have been cleaner. It was cloudy and needed to be skimmed. Most hotels of this caliber clean their pools every day. This one didn't feel as clean. And then, of course, all the sargassum on the beach made it impossible to use, but that isn't the hotels fault.」

「Had a great time here but had to leave unfortunately due to sargassum. They do not clean the beach here so there was a big build up and the smell was unpleasant. Cooper was very helpful staff member and eager to help. Room was chic and awesome, we took bikes out for the day which was lovely, and the hotel is in a great location. Loved our time here <3」

「Everything about our stay at La Zebra was perfect! If you want a small hotel with every detail considered, where the staff are ALL amazing, kind, warm and so friendly then La Zebra is for you. A beautifully styled hotel, complete with every modern touch yet embracing Mexican art and culture, it is the kind of place where you can totally relax. The food and drinks were incredible, our particular favourite was the ceviche! The staff became more like old friends, nothing was ever too much trouble....
