My stay at Shibari was wonderful! Staff were very professional, attentive & courteous. Check-in process was simple. They were able to check me in early. The room floor seemed like it wasn’t cleaned that well but the room and view was so beautiful it took the focus away from it. The cenote and restaurant area were amazing. Food taste amazing, a bit overpriced, but the taste, service & staff compensated for it. The fitness center can use some attention.

* THIS HOTEL IS NOT ON THE BEACH. Everything about this hotel was amazing!! To be honest, I booked this hotel by mistake, which turned out to be a remarkable stroke of luck—we did not want to leave! The rooms were lovely and clean. The property and grounds were beautiful and lush. Pure tranquility! Staff was excellent. The breakfast was excellent along with the dining staff. All of this, while being centered around a gorgeous cenote. We had never experienced a cenote before and it was magical. While the cenotes surrounding Tulum are beautiful and well worth visiting, we were always eager to return to our hotel cenote for lounging in the sun and impeccable service. A couple of notes, during our stay, the hotel cenote did not have typical “hotel pool hours” so plan accordingly. Also, keep in mind that check out, as policy states, does in fact take 15-20 minutes. Simply my observations. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Shabari. Topnotch throughout!!

Everything was perfect. I have literally no complaints. I would stay here again. Perfect location, amazing food, clean rooms, the attention to detail is incredible. Spa services were awesome, yoga was great, cenote is beautiful. Was sad to leave.

My stay at Shibari was amazing. It was hard to leave this place as it was such a unique and truly magical spot. The included breakfast is top notch and the service was amazing. The only negative thing about it is on the weekends you can get some noise from the nearby clubs until 2am. This doesn’t bother me as I often wear ear plugs when I sleep. And any hotel near the club zone has this same problem so it’s just a downside to staying within walking distance of that zone. I would definitely stay here again.

Wow! What a beautiful resort. The staff was so kind and attentive. Everything was spotless. The music was very relaxing. The pool and jacuzzi were heated, which was nice, since it was a bit chilly in the afternoon and at night. We only ate breakfast while we were there, but it was AMAZING! So fresh and delicious. Also, the area that the resort is located is super charming. There are small cafes, beach clubs, restaurants and boutiques, but not an overwhelming amount of noise and people. We will definitely be back!

The resort is lovely but the rules here make it not worth the stay. You can not have any guests unless you pay for them. One guest is the resort fee-$17 a day, a second? $150. A guest can not even come to your room to let you wash up and change without paying. You also have to pay for them for your entire stay. The music from the restaurant and cenote is audible in your room all day until late in the night. Will not stay here again.
