Great hotel with nice and helpful staff right on the beach. Our room with a balcony facing the beach was amazing to chill out in and listening to the waves at night. You got some dining and shopping options close by but we preferred heading to Tulum town on most nights - more authentic with excellent food at much lower prices. We had a car which made it easy to get to Tulum town, using taxis etc. might be a bit more of a stretch on your time and budget. Anyway, the hotel and its staff are a five star, perfect spot to be for a couple of days on the beach.

Hotel and staff were outstanding. Being able to use WhatsApp to arrange transport and answer any questions was super helpful. Samantha and Jonathan couldn’t do enough to make our stay - even going out to get some superglue for my broken glasses! Location was at the end of South Tulum which meant quieter position but not as many places nearby without a lengthy walk or (expensive) taxi ride. That said restaurant and food offerings were lovely (if not a little expensive - but that’s Tulum!) and breakfast had great healthy options. Access to a beautiful beach but the mosquitoes were annoying - maybe some smaller incense burners like the ones used in the restaurant would help? Overall a great place to stay to chill out and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Tulum.

Property is solid, came during seaweed season, but that wasn’t their fault. My biggest complaint comes from the food, mediocre, and pricey, more the mediocre than the price, I understand it’s Mediterranean style food, but no spice, no salt, I asked for some type of breakfast meat with my breakfast eggs, none available, fix the food menu. Staff was great. New hotel, so I definitely think it can be salvaged.

Overrated

This hotel has only been open for 8 months but it looks rundown already. Rooms are nice but very bare. No breakfast included and no a la carte options. Was charged to park my car. Many better options in Tulum

I got full princess Jasmine vibes staying here it was stunningly beautiful. I opted to stay here since I wanted to relax and unwind it peace and quiet and that’s exactly what this delivered. The place is clean and no complaints on that. There was a lot of sagrado upon my stay BUT nothing hotel could do we just went on bad timing. Things I do think facility could improve on is the overall pool it was quite small as a 5’6 & 6ft couple we didn’t much enjoy the pool as we felt we couldn’t stand on it.

Our first trip to Tulum was unforgettable thanks to Sana! The hotel is located right on the beach—we literally stepped out of our room and were on the sand every morning. We stayed in an ocean view plunge pool room with direct access to the beach and bar, which made everything super convenient. The Mediterranean design throughout the property is stunning, and every detail was thoughtfully done. Huge thanks to Jonathan and Anda for being so helpful with food spots, local recs, and even arranging a rental car delivered to us. All the staff were friendly and made sure we had the best experience. We’ll definitely be back and staying at Sana again!

So I’ve been to 37 countries so far and stayed at many places internationally and I will say that the front desk was outstanding at the concierge seriously always there for you no matter what time it was! They were there to give us advice on where to go and the best places and they were all really warm and welcoming through our entire stay! Also if there was ever an issue they were prompt at fixing the problem! The hotel was gorgeous and it was my friend reunion trip and we have been to Morocco before and the hotel was exceptional at capturing that essence! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We had the best stay at the Sana hotel. First off we got in at 8am however check in was at 3pm and they kindly gave us a courtesy room to settle in which was amazing so we were able to shower and not sit in the heat for hours! This was thanks to Anda who was working the front desk at the time. She was amazing and super helpful! Then we got moved to our other room which our AC started leaking so we had to move rooms and they moved us to the Penthouse with a private pool. Thanks to Jonn, he gave us this amazing option and it really made our stay absolutely incredible. He also helped with all our transportation which made it super easy and stress free. The service was EXCELLENT! I was in contact with the front desk on whatsapp the whole time and they respond immediately. Even the kind workers who brought our room service up to the pool for us was just over the top so kind and amazing people. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a romantic relaxing vacation. This was the best hotel my boyfriend and I have ever stayed at and we will definitely be back.

Sana Tulum was absolutely beautiful. We came here for a wedding (at a different hotel) and decided to stay here to get away from the crowd, as we wanted to make this our mini moon since we recently got married in March! Rooms were updated, cleaning service came twice a day. They were very kind and accommodating - the food was good (get the burrata pizza and the fish tacos!). Very very clean and the workers are constantly moving throughout to ensure it's clean and habitable. Bugs weren't too bad - obviously bring your bug spray! Sofía, Joss, Jonh & Anda Were incredible and greeted us daily, making sure we were satisfied with the service. The seaweed was present but out of the hotels control - they had workers outside day in and day out removing it from the beach. The rooftop pool is beautiful. Honestly, great for photos and aesthetic - we hired professional photographers through the hotel and didn't even have to leave the hotel to take photos since there was so much to see! The photographers were INCREDIBLE by the way!! (Pedro & Anaurora). We loved it here and would return again in the future. Thank you for an incredible stay!

My stay at Sana Tulum was magical. The accommodations, food and top tier staff far exceeded my expectations. From the moment Sofía and Joss greeted me via text and at the front desk, I knew the bar was raised. The service provided throughout the week was stellar - shout out to Rigo and Jorge.
