「You really have to be desperate to stay here. In poor repair, dirty, poor tv reception. You’d never expect it as the lobby and breakfast area are updated. However, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure/shower was good.」

「Wonderful stay at Mills Inn for the Spoleto Festival. The location is perfect, the room was very comfortable, the outdoor pool a pleasant spot to enjoy some sun, catch up on reading and have a refreshing drink. Champagne in the lobby at 3:30 pm was sheer perfection after a full morning of sightseeing and concerts. Easy walking distance to all attractions and excellent dining. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy Charleston.」

「We loved our stay at the Palmetto!! Right when you walk in the staff greets you and the hotel just smells good! There are always drinks in the lobby- water and sweet tea! The room was exactly as pictured and the staff serviced the room multiple times a day which was very nice! The breakfast was minimal but what you’d expect for a continental breakfast- fruit, grits, pastries, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and yogurt parfaits.
