「Check in was easy and they were very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to a king room and it was appreciated! Great location. Close to historic district and shopping. Free coffee & tea and offers snacks, wine and appetizer snacks and even cookies in the evening. Bagel, muffins, toast, yogurt & cereal & pastries for light breakfast. We were able to check in early and checkout is 12. We able to leave our car til we left the area. parking is $28 on site probably the same as a parking...

「Conveniently located near the Old Charleston Market, the Meeting Street Inn is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We paid $25 per night to park in their shared lot two blocks away which we found to be a tremendous bargain in the area. Hyman's Seafood is a block away and is fabulous! My only disappointment: we didn't encounter a ghost.」

「This place is falling apart. No way it’s a freshly renovated hotel. Carpet torn and dirty. Doors and trim falling apart. No microwave in the rooms. Phone in room didn’t work. The cook didn’t show up so no dinner on the property. I had to find something else. I would never stay there again. This is not Hyatt quality. Embarrassing!」

「This hotel is beautiful. The lobby area and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Our beds & towels were clean and comfortable as well. The free omelette station was great. Best hotel breakfast we’ve had. Our only wish was that breakfast be extended to 9:30am instead of 9am. After arriving later the night before, it was a struggle getting up early for breakfast.」
