We were placed in a second building overlooking the freeway. There were two big bags full of cement in the corridor the whole time we were there. Things in the room were rusty. It was not walkable to downtown Charleston. Only one restaurant in the area.

I like the location and the customer service representative who checked us in was very kind. What I didn't like the room was very dusty, the ceiling in bathroom is coming down, the carpet is stained under the mirror, brownstains on sheets, TV unplugged, phone doesn't work and toilet very slow to flush. No I will not stay again or recommend to anyone..

Upon arrival of the hotel I noticed that the trash was overflowing at 12:00 in the afternoon I also noticed that it was dirty My hair dryer caught on fire The fire alarm was not working properly they charged me $10 for parking. And many other things that just were not right with this place.

I didn't know when I booked this hotel was pet friendly and dogs would be everywhere. I don't like dogs and other guests don't realize when you say I don't want your dog near me they just let them run up on you. He doesn't bite. Just because he don't bite you don't mean he won't bite me. I will always read the pet policy. But thanks for the stay I won't be back.

Rude staff. It was an upgrade to get a refrigerator?!? Bathroom dirty. Paint splatter on walls. Small holes in ceiling!?! Could see daylight around the door. The room did not appear like the photo online. Tv broken. Cable replaced and it turned on but volume didn’t work. Mountain of garbage bags behind building. Usually this is a solid hotel chain. Completely disappointed by this location. You should get a refund for staying in a place like that. Worst hotel I’ve been in for years.

I did not like it at all. Person at desk was rude, room obviously needs work, spider webs on bed frame, mattress not in greatest shape, curtain had holes, had to pay 20.00 for parking, have not received my deposit back, no trash can, security lock was rigged because it had already been ripped the wall before. This is just crazy. I had no choice but to stay, there were no other rooms in the area at the time I was there.

My room smells like chlorine on top of dog urine. My bed sheets smelled like disinfectant and was not comfortable. I had reservations for 4 nights and I’m leaving in 3. The location is great but that’s about it.

What I did like about this property was the “set up” of the inside. It’s just different. And I mean that with that being the only good thing about the place. Now where do I start with what I didn’t like? Well they charge $250 fee if you’re paying cash and live within a 40 mile radius… but $150 if you live outside the 40 mile zone (resident/non-resident) What else… the staff.. I’d have to say the only somewhat friendly person was the young female who works in the morning. I was given the option to see the room….before I unloaded my things and as soon as i opened the door it smelt like straight up marijuana and mind you they have a “no smoking” policy and supposedly smoke alarms that don’t even work. Next, the front desk gave my room number out to someone who should not have been given out that information.. I did not give them permission rather I called 30 minutes prior and asked that they DO NOT GIVE OUT MY ROOM # and they said oh no we don’t do that. But when i made a big deal about it they got mad @ me like it was my fault. Instead of offering me a different room for my safety for the night they actually came and knocked on my door after calling 4 times back to back and told me if this crazy dude comes back again he’s going to have to kick me out for causing a disturbance at his place of business. Very unprofessional, they did not handle the situation well at all instead I felt scared for my life and nobody or nothing could change that. Which is very unfortunate

I can only speak to our experience in the extra building on the property where you enter rooms from the outside. I don't know how the main building is. The first room we stayed in, the door wouldn't even open. You had to literally shove the door hard in order to get into the room. We asked for a new room. The new room ended up having a leak from the ceiling. We stayed one night and checked out the next day. This property is very old and rundown. I would not recommend it.
