「Clean room, stocked with beach and bath towels. Bed and pillows were surprisingly very comfortable allowing for a great night sleep. Bath had a personal jacuzzi tub. Their outdoor jacuzzi along with their spa robes felt like a luxurious experience at the spa. The wife and I bought a wine bottle, and their front desk provided the cork opener and glasses. Breakfast was a homier version of a hotel's continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and offered golf cart rides to the local beach.」

「Loved staying here! The property, inside and out, was beautiful. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The view of the park and the river across the street was lovely. All the positives make up for the location being a bit further from restaurants and bars, although within walking distance depending on your abilities. We’d stay here again!」

「Quiet location providing easy walking to most of the historic and museum sites as well as restaurants aplenty. Charleston provides a downtown area shuttle (DASH) if walking is an issue. Good included breakfast with many options. Friendly staff. The accommodations are not opulent but they're comfortable and enjoyable. The draw is the history of the building and the area. The other guests were all friendly. No one was there with a "one percenter attitude."」

「Bad experience. I was unable to get expedia refund nor insurance refunded after a 3rd night cancel due to winter weather. Expedia trip insurance is fraudulent for not paying for the insured night. Room floor was sticky on arrival. Got sick from breakfast. Maintenance door in hallway permanently held open with towels?」

「Pictures do not do the hotel justice, quaint, charming, sophisticated. Great place for gatherings of all ages. Staff goes above and beyond in all ways to make your stay perfect. Very attentive and quick to respond to needs. Pool deck, roof top bar was entertaining, and a highlight of our trip. Great abundance of towels, clean deck furniture, easily accessible. Everything was great, Black Dog Cafe, the Iron Horse Bar, the patio with music, the fitness room, the seating in the entry. Too many...
