There were lots of decks overlooking the stream and a path to an area to enjoy being close to the small falls. Carol who checked us in was so friendly. This place is peaceful and full of loving touches that make you feel right at home."

"This place is well worth the money we paid to stay. We chose the Appalachian Room which had a cabin feel, wood floors and rustic finishes added to the room's decor. Even a sound machine for sleep was in our room. King bed and bedding were great. Decor for the room and common areas had a very charming, old world feel. Fully accommodating coffee/tea station on both floors. Beautiful landscaping with waterfall and Koi Pond, stone walkways added to beauty of this hotel. Staff were very helpful and personable. Max's restaurant across the street was convenient, good food and priced well."

"What an incredibly lovely place! Paul, the host/manager(?), was especially accommodating and made an excellent breakfast. The only minor downside is the full-size bed, which is smaller than a queen. Otherwise, highly recommended!"
