"Inn at the Woods was beautiful and tranquil. We were greeted and set up in the Forest Room, which offered a great view of the trees and the Sportsman Lake across the street. We brought our two dogs, which made great use of the nearby loop trail. It’s just a short drive from Friday Harbor town, and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely visit again!"

"The hotel has a stellar location overlooking Friday Harbor and the ferries. It was impeccably clean and had nice touches such as San Juan Roasters coffee pourover, fireplaces, and robes in the rooms. It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway!"

"I loved the view, the lovely private balcony, the cozy room and decor. I would definitely stay again. The management were very responsive and helpful as well. The electric fireplace is also a cozy addition that I made good use of since it is pretty cold in March, still."

"Great views from the picture windows and porch of our waterfront cabin. The included bundle of firewood was a plus. The only negative was not being able to use the hot tub right upon opening time at 9:30 am which cut enjoyment of that feature down a lot. My boyfriend is a huge hot tub lover and we had to hurry to check out by 11:00am. The beds, linens and pillows were all really nice! Overall the property is just what it reports and I would likely book here again. "

"I recently stayed at the Roche Harbor Resort. The location is very pretty, with lots of greenery and proximity to the water. Our condo was spacious, but it had a leak. Other than that, it was good."

"Property is tired and poorly equipped. There is no support or help onsite. Our request to replace the broken toaster did not happen. There were no basics supplies such as coffee filters."

"The house is super clean and well stocked. Great view, nice neighborhood, close to ferry and to town and state park. But, the host is not flexible and cooperative. And the bed in the master bedroom is the worst. Keeps creaking with every turn and the mattress is so hard, you may as well be sleeping on a camping mat. Keep in mind, there no ceiling fans or AC and it was HOT in August and very uncomfortable to sleep at night. "
