Trumpeter Inn is a real treat. Even though it is close to Friday Harbor, it is in a lovely bucolic setting, complete with alpacas! Breakfast was delicious and our hostess was charming. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This was a beautiful property about a mile and a half outside of town, so it was very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and even had generous bathrobes too use. I would stay here again the next time I am on San Juan Island!

It was especially nice to find that the Trumpeter Inn is on a large property that includes a pasture inhabited by friendly goats and alpacas that eat from your hand (food packets provided by our hosts!), outside sitting areas in lovely flower gardens, and ample room inside to meet, sit, and chat with other guests.
