Top Tancah Hotel Reviews
Bahia Principe Explore Coba - Hyatt Inclusive Collection - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice resort with friendly and helpful staff. The workers at the Kids Club were excellent and my child was very happy to see them. It was nice to use shuttles to see the other resorts and go to the beach. Would definitely stay here again"
Catalonia Royal Tulum Adults Only - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"This resort although having Tulum in the name is neither in Tulum or Playa del Carmen. It is between and a long and potentially expensive cab away from any of the main tourist areas. This obviously is a plus for some and not for others. The resort is good, Buffett excellent, restaurants pretty good. The spa is nice, maybe a bit spendy? Room service selection is pretty limited. The nighttime entertainment is outstanding. There is some “exclusive’ travelers club thing they sell to have “privilege access”. We didn’t learn about it but seems time share type thing possibly. Over all good experience but we’d probably stay closer to resort town next time because taxis cost us a lot."
TRS Yucatan Hotel - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were amazing! Carlos in Villa 66 and Martha at Helios."
Barceló Maya Palace - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"It's our 3rd time there. Place is always amazing. We keep going back, because we always try to find somewhere to go and look all over the place and all over the Caribbean and Costa Rica and all of that stuff, and we always end up coming back to the Barcelo. The surrounding area has never-ending awesome things to do, the beach is unbeatable, and they have their own reef for snorkeling that's a few miles long. We stay at the Palace with the premium level, but the little bit extra you pay for the premium level is worth it a hundred times over"
Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Secrets Akumal is a beautiful resort, and we had a great stay overall. We stayed in Building 3 on the first floor in a swim-out room, which had direct access to the pool from our patio. It was a great option and gave us a convenient, more private place to relax whenever we wanted some time away from the main pools. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. The entire property was clean and well maintained, and the service was consistently excellent. Our concierge, Karen, was especially helpful and sent us daily messages with information about available activities, excursions, and events around the resort. We spent quite a bit of time relaxing in the beachfront cabanas, which were very comfortable. We also treated ourselves to a spa day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The spa facilities are top-notch and were definitely one of the better parts of our stay. The biggest downside was the beach itself. There isn’t much of a beach directly in front of the resort, as the usable stretch of sand is fairly narrow. There was also a significant amount of seaweed during our stay, which made the beach less appealing than we expected. If having a large, pristine beach is a major priority for your vacation, this is something to keep in mind. One other thing to be aware of is the resort membership presentation. Be prepared to receive a sales pitch regarding their membership program. It wasn’t enough to negatively affect our overall experience."
Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

Barceló Maya Colonial - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"We have a great time at the hotel, they should improve the food and drinks."
Catalonia Riviera Maya Resort and Spa All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Very clean resort with many things to do. Room was very nice and air-conditioning worked great. We were upgraded to a bigger room for some reason I am not aware of but I did not complain. I always need a cool/cold room when sleeping and this definitely fit the bill. Deck was also nice too and was quite big. Restaurants were nice and clean. You definitely need to book all the restaurants in advance as they fill up quickly. The booking website could use some better work as it was hard to cancel and change reservations. Pools were nice and cleaned every morning. Beach was maintained as best as possible every morning given the bad seaweed season. The beach is not the best but you can snorkel and see many fish. On some days, there was no seaweed at all. Staff is very friendly and willing to help as much as possible. Bars were plentiful with a lot of seating. We didn't upgrade to the privileged status, but the selection was okay. Nightly shows were great and entertaining. Be sure to show up early. All in all in was a great resort. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have been to over 30+ all-inclusive resorts throughout Central America and this was by no means in the bottom half of lower 75%. The only negative is how far it is from the airport; its about an hours drive from Cancun/airport. So if you are booking any excursions that are in Cancun or leave from Cancun, be prepared to spend at least an hour or 2 in the car."
