"Reviews we've read have been hit or miss so didn't know what to expect when arriving. The staff was friendly and decently attentive. The bartenders at the pool bars worked fast, and they had employees going around cleaning up plates and cups and they would even take your order for drinks if you asked. Dinner was pretty good, the portions are a bit small so for 2 teenage boys, they would order 2 or more entrees. The Italian restaurant was our favorite. There are no reservations at any of them, so you either wait in line before they open or go later after everyone else. The rooms and bathrooms were really a decent size; they could use a little update though. We loved hanging out at the pool and they had water volleyball, water polo, water aerobics, and music going to liven it up. Overall, we had a great time and were sad to leave. "

"Our room was awesome! Very well kept, lots of space, nice bathroom and showers! Rooms were very well cleaned each day! Downfall for the room were very hard beds. Kids pool and activities were good for young children. Advertising for events and activities were poor, didn’t often know what was going on in the resort. Buffet was not great for lunch and supper, not a lot of options. Munchies grill was a life saver for the kids! Gustavo working in the buffet was very friendly and kind! Most other times staff didn’t engage much and were not overly helpful or friendly. Great location- right across the street from a huge mall with lots to do! Beach was nice, beautiful sand. "

"This resort is not new and some of the decor is quite dated, but it is very well maintained and the service was excellent all around. The rooms were also fantastic. We are a family of four with two teenagers and it made all the difference for htem to have their own beds (and the Murphy beds are of good size and quite comfortable). Special shout out to Amanda at the front desk for her attention. And to the Margaritas, which were delicious! "
