"Beautiful property, amazing service and staff, one of best beaches we've experienced in Cancun. The room though clean and beautiful, the AC struggled to keep room cool at night, had to request a fan. Nightly entertainment was hit and miss, just not our thing for the most part. The food was biggest disappointment. Had read reviews raving how good the food was, this wasn't our experience. If hadn't been being preffered status our experience would have been much worse as the food for breakfast and lunch around the 12th floor infinity pool was the bright spot of our trip. Which can only be accessed by preferred. In short, if you go, definitely go preferred and lower any expectations of great food and entertainment."

"The food was TERRIBLE. The pictures of the food that they have on the website are not what they feed you. The pizza for example was far from fresh… it was obviously a prepackaged pizza and it was terrible. Samurai was the only freshly made food on the resort and it was pretty good. The two days that there was bbq at the pool; it was great. The interior restaurants were some of the worst food I’ve ever experienced and they even have an “upgraded” menu that you can pay extra for… from that menu… the steak and lobster was awful. We actually ordered Dominos one of the nights because we couldn’t stomach the food any longer. The pool staff (Armando and Danielle) were 10/10 amazing… without them and the pool time, our stay would have been completely miserable. You will get aggressively approached each day by time share salespeople which also was extremely disappointing and ANNOYING. We will not be staying at another Seadust property based on our week here."
