「Outside looked a little sketchy, old building with dated signs. There weren’t many cars when I checked in around 5:30 pm, but by 9, the parking lot was full. Inside had kind of an old smell but looked much better than the outside and was very clean. Room was as advertised. Tap water smelled a little eggy to me, but that might be a regional thing — I noticed at other buildings in public restrooms. Continental breakfast in the morning was adequate. The two-stars made me a little apprehensive, but...

「I arrived at the property on the lookout for a dated room because of a number of the reviews that I read. But when I walked into our room, I was pleasantly surprised by how tastefully it was decorated and how updated the amenities in our room were. The hotel met all of our needs and then some. The location is unbeatable (though, I'd definitely opt for a lake view if we were to stay here again. And the staff responded promptly to our needs. 「Clean and neat motel, safe and quiet place close to lake Geneva, reasonable price, you got all appliances in the room including a mini fridge, iron, coffee machine and hair dryer. The only little downside is that the bathroom ventilation fan is a bit noisy. 」
