The pull out couch mattress was nasty & we lacked a bed sheet for it. We were short towels, toilet doesn’t flush very well, shower head was super old & not very strong, and the bathroom light flickered. Carpet had spots & a hole. We got in an elevator & a guy walked in bare footed with a pit bull. There was also someone barefooted at breakfast. Ice machine was broken on a floor, on the other one was out of ice. I’m not a coffee snob, but I had to get some elsewhere because it was so bad (I heard 2 others complain). We came home 2nd night, parking lot was full so we parked at back door & our key card wouldn’t open the door while it’s pouring rain. We went to front desk, and he never said sorry, but “they” (really him) only made key card for one night, then he said “security matters“. There was a large banging in our room on our second night for a few seconds, our entire floor was shaking. The curtains let in more light in the morning than any hotel I can remember & we faced the west (they’re too short). As we left, the front automatic doors were stuck open & there was a grinding noise like they were trying to shut when there was no movement detected. The hotel needs lots of updates, but they’re cashing in seasonly on the nice location & limited rooms in the area, so we paid more per night than I can remember paying just about anywhere. This has turned me off from the Comfort Suites brand that I used to trust
