"We had communicated to the hotel on 2 separate occasions concerning our late arrival time which was to be about12:30 am. I was assured that someone would be there to check us in. Our taxi dropped us off on a very dark and deserted street and the door to the hotel was locked, we rang the doorbell and phoned several times but no response. "We chose San Juan b/c we had a cruise departing from San Juan. The location was excellent to enjoy Old San Juan. It was close to restaurants and nightlife! The hotel had one remote to control the AC and they held that, so we had to request someone from the front office to change the AC temp when needed. Other than that, this place is really nice and highly recommended!!! "
