Names Andy did it all: he was the Expedia liaison for everything we did. He helped us sign up for our dinners, connected us with the lifeguard after our friend fractured her foot, and maintained a professional yet friendly disposition! Alyn - nurse (lifeguard)wrapped Lynn’s foot, provided instruction and ice! Luis - There were a few people with this name. He was young, worked at the swim bar and said that he usually is a waiter near the swim bar. He was attentive, kept his cool when it got really busy and was very kind. We felt he was the best!! Jair- Attentive and responsive hard working bartender! Alexis / steak place waiter was friendly and helpful! Ramiro - Awesomely waited on us at the pool!! Francisco - Gracie restaurant Armando greeted us at the hibachi restaurant. He seated us and took our order. He was an excellent host!! Jesus at ZEN made our hibachi experience, the absolute best memory of all!!! his lighthearted, sense of humor and professional chef was very well received!!! we laughed so hard and ate such delicious food!

Mi experiencia en el área Hideaway del Royalton Riviera Cancun fue, en general, muy agradable. Desde nuestra llegada, el servicio en el lobby exclusivo para adultos fue atento y eficiente, y además tuvimos la grata sorpresa de recibir un upgrade de habitación, lo cual hizo nuestra estancia aún más especial. Las instalaciones son modernas, elegantes y están claramente diseñadas para un público que busca comodidad, exclusividad y descanso. El concepto adults only aporta un ambiente tranquilo y sofisticado, ideal para una escapada de relajación. Sin embargo, es importante mencionar que el hotel está orientado principalmente al mercado estadounidense e internacional. Esto se refleja tanto en el ambiente como en la oferta de entretenimiento, gastronomía y en la dinámica general del resort. Para algunos viajeros mexicanos, esta experiencia puede sentirse un poco menos cercana o incluso algo limitada en términos de conexión cultural, ya que el inglés predomina en la mayor parte de las interacciones y actividades. Aun así, si buscas un resort con excelentes instalaciones, servicio de calidad y una atmósfera internacional, es una muy buena opción para disfrutar de unos días de descanso en el Caribe Mexicano.

The resort is beautiful, well-kept, and has a welcoming, fun atmosphere. There is always something going on, and truly something for everyone. Check-in was quick and easy—we relaxed by the pool while waiting for our room, and loved the wristband room key system. The food was a huge highlight. Zen (Japanese) was a standout, along with Hunters, Armadillo, and Grazie. Every restaurant was clean, and the servers were attentive and kind. One night at the sushi bar stood out—we were the only ones there, and the chefs surprised us with off-menu creations, which made it feel so special and personalized. The entertainment was also amazing—the fire show, rock show, salsa lessons, & live music made every night fun. The vibe team brought great energy. We stayed in a swim-out room that didn’t get much sun, but spent most of our time at the Hideaway pools. What stood out most was the staff. Raul the bartender truly made our trip—he’s kind, funny, welcoming, and created such a fun atmosphere every day. We genuinely looked forward to seeing him. Hugo in the Hideaway went above and beyond and made our Bali bed day unforgettable. Andy, our Expedia rep, was extremely helpful and attentive, and Aaron in the lobby was also very kind. Every interaction showed how much the staff genuinely care. The only minor downside was the persistent spa/excursion offers and limited early pool seating, but it didn’t impact our experience much. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this resort!!

Food was ok nothing special at all. room service food was terrible, drinks were extremely weak. they try to upcharge you on everything even though I bought the top package. Been to way better places for half the money I spent here.

Great resort! The resort sections are along the beach, so wherever you are, the beach isn’t a far walk. The resort is also easily walkable with elevators if needed. Food was good and staff are very helpful.
