We really enjoyed our time at the Oleo Cancún. The staff were super amazing, especially Julia. After I injured myself she was very attending and helpful always doing her best to make sure I was good. The food was always very good. And the service was great as well. You get to know people and see the same faces which we liked. The waves at the beach were very large and wasn’t good to swim in so most of the time we were by the pool. But the scenery was beautiful and everything was very aesthetic. Over all very pleased with our stay

The property and the staff were excellent. But the beach wasn't. Nothing to do with the staff. We ate from the buffet every day and the food was delicious. I will return in the future.

The only issue I had was check in being 30 minutes behind and having to wait. The water in the hotel didn’t get hot at all. The service was good and the food was decent !!! The overall stay was good!!

Gerry bartender the best he is superior at that job, the one guy that works the bar at night older gentleman didn’t listen to me messed up me and my +1 drinks every single time after Wednesday night. Hotel front staff was excellent.

This is a very small resort, compared to the other ones around, but it is better in my opinion, because the staff pays more attention to you. Food is good.

The hotel was very uncomfortable. It is too old and desperately needs upgrade. The food was terrible 1/5. They charge you $15 for checking out 1 hour late, something I've never seen and I've been staying at all inclusive hotels in Cancun for 20 years. I do not recommend that you stay in this property.

Boutique hotel with some nice touches such as coffee shop, freshly prepared bar snacks and most of the hotel staff. Pool bartenders are very good. However, some of the reception staff in particular one young man needs to improve his attitude. Though a lot of information is on their app it would be nice to have a welcome book/pack in each room, with details such as the hotels restaurants & their opening times, how andbif need to reserve, tv channels available, local restaurants and places to visit. Details on available transport such as taxis, ubers or buses and their costs. Some visitors were given a brief tour of hotel but not all, this should be the standard. The rooms are large, clean and mini fridge restocked daily. Refillable wash products are provided which is good. The hotel in places needs a paint/touch up which is common when on beach front. Beach is okay, sandy but lots of seaweed, which the hotel does try to clean up. The jotel is involved in turtle presevation/protection which is great just wish tourist would respect better. Tours provided by hotel and water activities but worth shopping around. You will be advised to pay in cash and dollars but don't feel pressured 99.9% of all tours accept cards and mexican pesos.

Not Recommended – Terrible Experience for $400 per Night” Review Text: This is not a real hotel – it’s a former apartment complex that has been poorly converted into a hotel, and it shows in every detail. My first room smelled strongly of mold and dampness. After I complained, the front desk contacted me and offered another room, which smelled exactly the same. The entire property is dirty and neglected. The tiles are poorly installed, the elevator is filthy and unmaintained. The restaurant menu is extremely disappointing, more like something you’d find in a fast-food place than a hotel restaurant charging $400 per night. Daily room cleaning is a joke. Housekeeping comes in for a few minutes and does practically nothing. The biggest shame is on Expedia for even listing this kind of property. I expected much better for the price. This was a nightmare experience — I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel and would never return.
