We were offered 50% off the rental TOTAL if we decided to stay, a full refund, or to be transferred to another property. We agreed with the office to stay and take the 50% off. A day later we received an email as if the situation was new, saying only a flat $200 "gesture of goodwill" will be offered if we decided to stay. "We rented the Alpine Manor Retreat for my daughter’s ski birthday weekend. This place is great. Great location. Easy to get to Alpine, Pallisades, Tahoe City or Truckee. Clean. We always like that when we walk in. Responsive communication system. Door code didn’t work at first, but was fixed in less than 5 minutes. "
