This photo is not of a singular place, but of a place, that is not normally talked about. I choose to take a picture of the most easterly mountains of Appalachian. The photo was taken 3250 feet in the air in a Cessna 150. The photo was taken with the purpose of showing that there are many various parts of the Appalachian community. Some people live near large mountain like Grand Father, but there are others that live next to small mountains like New Hope. It doesn’t matter how large the mountain is nearby, all that matter is they live near or on a mountain. They all are a part of the Appalachia society.

"Everything was great at this hotel, I’m excited to see what it looks like once the renovations are complete, the ONLY complaint I had was I walked in to the breakfast area with my little dog, I wasn’t staying I was walking through and the lady working the sausage and grits ran up on me stating no pets in the dining room so I told my husband to eat and I walked out of that area with that lady following me. I stopped in the doorway arch well away from food, tables etc and she’s yelling YOUR FOOT IS STILL IN, YOUR STILL IN! Definitely could have been handled differently and definitely by some deranged woman yelling! "
