「The Cedar Crest Inn is quaint, beautiful and historic. When you step inside the doors, you immediately notice the dark intricately carved woodwork, and you can feel the history inside. The beds were comfortable, the staff is wonderful, and the property is located conveniently to both downtown, the River Arts district and to Biltmore Village.」

「Beautiful Inn- so glad a historical part of the Outer Banks still exists. Love the private walkway to the beach; very convenient and the beach wasn't crowded for the end of the summer season. Wish they had a Chef...the only drawback was not having the breakfast on-site. The breakfast vouchers helped. Will definitely come back to stay! The wrap around porch with the breezes from the sound and ocean were wonderful!!」

「Beautiful old property that is a bit quirky and shabby in some spots, but everything was very clean. The staff was very helpful, and the included breakfast was great. We only stayed one night this time, but we would stay there again when we are in Charlotte. Parking was included and was easy and convenient.」

「We stayed at the Franklin Terrace Inn for three nights and weren’t quite sure what to expect, but we were so pleasantly surprised. The inn is quaint, exceptionally clean, and full of character, with lovely porches where we could relax and take in the beautiful view. 「We had a great stay. The inn was beautiful and the receptionist very helpful. The bathroom was a bit small, but that is to be expected in an older home. We really enjoyed the breakfast provided. It was a very quiet place to relax.」
