" Very secure with the elevators’ design using room card keys. Right in the middle of great food and nightlife- we had a beautiful view of the park at the center of town and our room had a chaise divan parallel with the giant window to chill on and people-watch (there was a juggling unicyclist hanging out). Comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept upon, and that’s high praise indeed."

"Our stay was great! The staff was super friendly, our room was perfect, and we were in a great location for everything we wanted to do in Asheville and Black Mountain. The hotel breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what seasoning they put on their scrambled eggs, but me and my boyfriend both gave them a 10/10. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but it looked great! Excellent stay! "

"What a great place to celebrate your anniversary it is historic and classy and peaceful. It has great dining options shopping, Golf Spa that’s amazing huge Fireplace and the best attentive staff. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating, and it is nestled up in the mountains in a beautiful historic hotel, hands-down one of my favorite getaways in Asheville.. "

"We only spent two nights at the hotel. The hotel has a bar which is convenient. It also has a big indoor pool, but I got the impression from other customers that the water was not heated. There are two elevators and traffic is relatively heavy. It seems to attract families. Lots of kids. Breakfast was nice with good variety of food. We did not find towels in thr bathroom, but were able to pick them up in the frost desk. Next to the front desk there is a small store with snacks and drinks (important when with kids). Staff is friendly. "
