"Great hotel in a great location right on the water. The hotel’s restaurant is also very good with a great oyster selection and view. Absolutely would come back! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating— especially when it came to navigating parking in the busy lot! Only one small comment: the air conditioner in room 3 sounds like a jet engine, but it did keep the room nice and cold!!"

"The Kennebunkport Motor Lodge is an institution in Kennebunkport and it offers good value in a town that has moved into the realm of high priced ( rather overpriced in some cases) hotels and if someone is not looking for a water view, spa etc this is a respectable place to stay. It has been run by several generations of a family and while it is lower key than some travelers may be looking for, we were there for an overnight and our party was booked into three rooms and Rachel (the manager) was friendly. easy to work with and made helpful recommendations. Rooms were simple but clean and each had a mini fridge, microwave and sink at one end of room so if road tripping or traveling with kids that would be useful. There was also a pool and a fire pit to relax at the end of the day. One piece of trivia is during the Bush era ( many tourists know that both Bush presidents vacationed in Kennebunport) and Secret Service agents were housed at hotel. In the morning there is a little complimentary continental breakfast offering tea & coffee, fresh fruit and pastries."

"The room was large and had a huge window overlooking the Kennebunk river and the ocean off to the left. The location truly can't be beat! We ate at the bar outside two nights and the food and drinks were exceptional. The only downsides were there was no dresser to put away your clothes even though the room had plenty of room to accommodate more furniture and the air conditioner was loud. We notified the front desk right after our first night and they said they'd have someone work on it, but we saw no improvement our second night. It was so loud when it cycled on that it could wake us up from a sound sleep and it didn't seem to be working that well. But other than that, it was a gorgeous place to stay!"

"We loved this hotel so much we extended our stay an extra night. Conveniently located to everything Kennebunkport but quiet and relaxing, we enjoyed this quaint spot in town. Our room was immaculate, parking is great (right by your door) and the views from our patio were serene. We would stay again."

"The Grand Hotel is truly a great grand & the location is in the heart of town. They have parking available which is a huge plus. Shopping & restaurants are all within walking distance or you can sign out their complimentary bikes to tour the area. Our room was excellent with the balcony & heated bathroom floor amazing!"
