The Inn was in the center of town making accessing the local shops and walking the area very easy. The property was clean and was impressive as an example of a turn of the prior century inn. The room was comfortable and quiet with plenty of storage. It was a very restful stay.

Property is in dire need of restoration. Restaurant and Bar area very nice, other than that it is 2 star property at best. They charge a resort fee of $25 per night, not sure what that was for as it is certainly not a resort. We were originally in one of their suites over the check-in counter and it was not what was advertised on pictures. They moved us to the Meckenburg???, which had been updated and was much nicer, but not worth the $500/night all in we were charged for our stay. I would say the hotel rooms even in season should not be more than $200/night given condition of property. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was okay......basically a continental breakfast. I would suggest staying a multitude of different properties close by. Don't let the pictures convince you to stay, they are not represntative of the property condition.
