I’m still waiting to hear back from my first email. On the 3rd day of a 4 night stay, we had no hot water. I had to take an ice cold shower on thanksgiving day! The room had only backless chairs which were quite uncomfortable for older travelers. We left a day early as there was still no hot water. In the room. I am requesting a refund and response. Please this time respond in a timely manner Thank you Robin Barlow

Wonderful stay, will definitely return. Great breakfast and we loved bringing our dog. Storage solutions in the form of more shelving and drawers in bathroom/shower and in main room to allow full unpacking seems like an easy fix.

Their sofas and chairs are ergonomically bad for our bodies. The sofas are too low to get up and are uncomfortable. So are the chairs in the room. It is difficult to understand the remote control for the air conditioner. There is no explanation but symbols. We could hear our neighbors' conversations. They seemed to focus on expressing their design talents in combining modern ideas and classic ones, but forgot about the most important facts: comfort and simplicity.

We had the most perfect few days at your wonderful hotel! Everything was so easy, clean and beautiful. The bicycles were a nice surprise as were the afternoon cookies! We were sad to leave, but already looking forward to our next trip!

We stayed only one night at this Inn. I know they had to make due with what the rooms offer, but our bathroom was so small it was like you could brush your teeth while sitting on the toilet! At any rate, staff is friendly and it's very walkable into town. We had to leave early, so we did not have breakfast.

Wonderful location. Host was very attentive. We stayed in main house. The little cabins looked very nice. We may stay in them next time. Will certainly stay there again.

Nice room. Surprised there was no bottled water in room when we arrive late. Breakfast hours are not told so we missed it by a few minutes. The young lady said she had nothing to drink….not even water. We asked about trolley and a couple other things and she told us to check in town. The hotel stated they had “personal concierge”, but we did not experience. Overall nice room, but tiny bathroom.

Lovely property - we’ve stayed in the main house and in the cabins and both are comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is great - plenty of hot and cold options. I would suggest having bottled water in the rooms.

Not Worth $800/Night

Wouldn’t pay $800+/night. The location is great. The rooms are… interesting. They looked great in the review photos, but ultimately they felt cramped, dusty and old (I stayed in a cabin outside the main home). Ours also smelled a little odd (like mildew and faint sewage smell). The daily breakfast, though, is awesome. They also have bikes on the property that are free for guests to use which was very convenient. The staff were very kind. Ultimately, this felt more like a renovated motel than a premium property. If you do book, go in with muted expectations and understand you’re mostly paying for the location. While we loved Kennebunkport, we won’t be returning here.
