Even after the drop-off by the Jabal Omar shuttle bus, the hotel is not within the Haram area, and you still have to walk about 10–12 minutes to reach the Masjid. Best time to visit Mecca is in February. It wasn't very crowded specially an hour Isha prayer. We prayed inside Hateem after doing two Umrahs and two Tawaf.
