「⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at the Funky Monk Epping Hotel and Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a complimentary welcome drink, which was a lovely touch. 「The staff were lovely and made me feel very welcome. There is ample free parking on site and my room exceeded my expectation, with bottled water, biscuits and tea/coffee. A comfy double bed with a TV with a selection of movies on demand and a heating unit which I was very grateful for as it was Christmas. Overall, a lovely place to stay with good people all amongst Epping forest. Will definitely stay again when I am down that way. Thank you!」

「The bed is very comfortable. Is a highlight of the hotel. Also location wise is perfect for people travelling to the airport too. The only thing was the hot water either super hot or none. Is hard to adjust for the shower to a suitable temperature for a shower. 」

「The location is very convenient as it's just a 5 mins walk to the Liverpool Street Station with different dining and shopping choices. Staff at reception were really friendly and helpful and worth a 5-star rating. The room I took was budget friendly so it was relatively small but sufficient for a solo traveler. There were small dirt stains on towels and bedsheets but otherwise the room was clean」

「The staff were amazing, from the front desk staff to the staff at the restaurant - the brush and the staff who serviced the breakfast buffet on Saturday the 24th of January 26 and the front desk staff on the evening of the 23rd Jan 26… amazing women who were empathetic, kind and so lovely. The room service staff as well were fantastic. I stayed with my two kids and really enjoyed our stay. My son is autistic and I was nervous about spending a night away from home and the staff were wonderful....
