Hôtel calme au bord de la Tamise, près des transports public. Petit déjeuné copieux. Bien pour les familles. Petit bémol, pas d'eau chaude au robinet du lavabo de la sale de bain. Et il y avait un trou dans le plancher au pied de l'escalier du lit superposé.

the family room was surprisingly spacious with actually two separate rooms; location and condition of the hotel (hostel) are superb; a bit outdated here and there, but nothing that make it anything other than a good stay; perhaps more variety and options for breakfast ;) overall, thank you!!!

Convenient location, especially with the free ferry shuttle, good pubs couple of minutes walk away and another about 10 mins walk o the thames walkeay. Also, safe, nice and quiet with good views of Thames. Only unusual aspect was no glasses in bathroom. Also, bring own travel kettle and cups, tea and coffee, as not provided in rooms. I would definately stay here ne t time in London.

Hands down the worse experience of hotel I have ever experienced I will be asking for my money back as I felt like victim not a guest.. so got back from the O2 12 last night went to get back into my room and there was a door before are room what would lead to 3 more rooms well trying to unlock the 1st door and nothing happened it wouldn't open so we went down to reception when they issued us a new key what also didn't work then we went back and they got someone to go with us after now waiting 20 minutes for him to find out he can't unlock the door so counting this is are 4th trip back to reception were now sat at reception for a hour or so for him to come back and confirm he's not gonna be able to get us in are room tonight with all my belongings in and my medication what I was due and needed through out the night he said there's nothing we can do come back at 7 and are maintenance man would be able to unlock the door he said in the mean time we will get you a new room to sleep in now it's close to 2am so issues us a key sends us up to the room key not working 5th trip to reception they sent someone one up now... Opens the door and 2 people sleeping in there bed we're very startled and shocked and rightly so they put us in a room someone was already in.. trip 6 back to reception told them what happened they then took another 10 mins sent a colleague in to do the same to another room and he walk in on another guest it's about 2.15 till we get a room (no more characters left)

Used to be a 4* hotel. It never was 4* but it was pretty good. Great breakfast and amenities in the rooms. Now that it’s been taken over by AO it has gone downhill. On Expedia it’s still advertised as 4*. There’s nothing in the room, no tea/coffee making facilities, no hair dryer, no bathmat, no nonslip mat for the over bath shower. The bedding was good quality and the mattress comfortable, but only one thin pillow provided which resulted in neck ache in the morning. Paid extra for breakfast, it was poor. The cooked breakfast consisted of cold sausages, cold hash brown and beans. Hardly a full English. The cold continental buffet was just as basic. The bar was poorly stocked and with the poor and slow service provided by an abrupt bar man. I was the only one at the bar and it still took 20minutes from starting my two drink order to sitting down to drink it. Probably my own fault for having expectations based on previous experience before it was taken over by AO who seem to be turning it into a youth hostel. I subsequently discovered that AO are AOHostels which explains a lot, but AO have it on their website as a hotel, which is definitely not a hotel anymore, it’s a youth hostel with a stylish reception. On the plus side, there’s no charge on the ferry to Canary Wharf for residents that would otherwise be £7.80 each way.
