"Very comfortable accommodation. Close to public transport large supermarket and restaurants. Nice walk to beach. Excellent hosts… super attentive and very friendly. Only negative: no laundry facilities."

"Place is great for families and I have a family of 5. 3 minute or less walk from the beach. Ocean House provides rooms that are more like small Loft apartments! We were able to cook and store all of our food. Dishes were provided in the room. The kids loved it . Would stay here again. "No one present for check in - felt a bit ‘cold’ - not temperature. Just feeling. No tea & coffee making facilities apart from an extortionately priced vending machine. Also my room was room 1 which was right by the front door, so I heard EVERY guest arrriving, even at 2 & 3 am. The bedroom, shower & room generally was fantastic however so these are just niggles. For the price, it was good value. "

"Dissapointed and ended up leaving after one night, very misleading images and information regarding the 'hotel'. The hotel is part of a bar which is noisy until at least 1am. You have walk through the outside smoking area of the bar to get into the hotel. The hallway stunk of smoke. The hotel didn't have a reception, to check in you had to go to the bar, then wait for them to call the manager. Room was small and clotraphobic. Wouldn't recommend as prices do not reflect the quality."

"Although this hotel lacks charm and the lobby and hallways look worn, the room is spacious and clean and the staff very friendly. The location is great: walking distance to the Escher and the Mauritshuis Museums, to the shopping area and the Central train station. "

"The property is in an older building, it is a walk up to the room. Though it is right near the river and easy to get to from the Centraal station. Breakfast was at their other location the Rembrandt Hotel. A vegan breakfast is available and they accommodated our request, though they didn’t have any non dairy milk or cream for the coffee. The staff was friendly, and helpful. It was only a short walk to anything we needed."

"In Scheveningen and close to the Pier and tram stops (direct tram to Den Haag Central Station). Quiet street. Friendly staff. Standard room with shared facilities. Comfortable. Only potential downside is the early closure of check in. This could be an issue if a train is delayed and/or connection missed on the night of arrival."

"The location is the only good thing i have to say about this property. It's close to pretty much everything. But, rooms are cramped, no aircon so i'd imagine that being an issue in the summer, and staff are quite rude - i had to cut my trip short due to a strike which cancelled the next flight, but they wanted to penalise me for it! The rotters! It's not my fault those workers decided to strike. I quietly left the key in the dropbox as per Expedia's suggestion, but nevet again! Only stay here if...
