"A basic but comfortable hotel. We loved the balcony in our room looking over the courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The location is convenient, a 10-15 minute walk to old downtown and the Bahnhof. Excellent breakfast!"

"Need more personal, at afternoon you only have one poor guy attending reception, the restauran, bar, and phone calls. He is Troy ing to his best but is impossible to attend so many things at the same time. "

"A 4 star level 3 star hotel. Basic accommodations, so if you require spa services and pampering move on. But for a decent place to sleep, excellent breakfast in a bright space, professional 24/7 staff, ok basic dinner options, and if priced lower than the fancy places, I definitely recommend staying here. There is a lovely walking path, about a mile and a half, to a train station that takes you right into Neufchâtel. Water in the room? Yes via the tap into paper cups. Soundproof? Forget it....

"We loved this place. It's in a big old farmhouse and doesn't look like much from the front, but it is a hidden gem. Mike runs the hotel so well & is really helpful; they should change the name to Mike's Place. It's really clean, comfortable & has everything you need. There's a big kitchen with almost every appliance you could want. It's really quirky and cool. 30min from Bern. Schönbrunnen is just up the road for groceries, cash etc There's isn't a lift as the house is heritage listed, so keep...

"This was my first "self service" hotel. It was very clean, even though it's next to the tain station, there is virtually no outside noise. There is a small convience store and a really good restaurant close by and a 20 minute train ride into Bern"
