"My room was cleaned everyday, reasonable priced parking $10. Day, good daily price and close to all the parks and restaurants. My son and I like staying there because we can walk to eat and drink. It’s an older property but it’s priced good for the money and location."

"The normal breakfast is not fresh at all, you can see that it is preheated, the space for breakfast is very small. The pool the water is very cold, and it is dirty from the use and they do not clean which is not ready to use the next day. The room had a musty or wet smell the bathroom door did not work. Sanitary facilities did not flush properly, the water has no pressure."

"We stayed in the dog-friendly building with our 2 older dogs (11/16) on this visit. We were in town from NC visiting Universal Orlando. The room had a bit of an odor, but we assumed it was due to it being a dog room. Otherwise, the room was fine. The issue we had with this particular visit was the noise from staff. Before 8am, the homekeeping carts are rolling down our corridor (VERY loud on the textured walkway) all day about every 30-45 minutes anytime we were in our room. They would occasionally speak loudly across distances or stop right at our room and carry on moderately loud conversations. One morning at about 7:15, I had to ask them to please not be so loud so early given that people are trying to sleep. They stopped and went on their way, only to do so again later on. The last night we were there, one of the carts went rolling in front of our room at 1:03am. I am not joking! We have stayed here several times in the past in the regular guest tower and it has been great. But this wasn't a pleasant, restful experience at all in the pet-friendly building. I would recommend this hotel if it's in the tower. Great rooms, quiet, friendly staff, extremely convenient to the Universal parks, and the price is really good. But if you need a pet-friendly accommodation, I would look elsewhere."

"This is an older hotel that has recently received a makeover so it looks nice on the surface. However the room key quit working. We were unable to reach anyone via phone so we had to leave our stuff at the 7th floor outdoor entrance and make our way back to the desk for service. After waiting in line a while the attendant had trouble getting anyone from maintenance to pick up the radio. He issued new key cards which corrected the problem but we didn't have a confidence that the new keys would continue working. When we went out to gather ice, we were concerned that the room might not be accessible upon our return. Elevators were a bit slow and overall the clientele were noisy and messy. The gentleman running the desk was clearly overloaded, but there was no one to offer him assistance. Some of the cleaning staff were in the lobby and very loud and in the way while he was trying to check us in."
