「Nice」

「The coffee maker did not work, the tub’s faucet constantly leaked all night long. There was blood on the floor in the bathroom. I didn’t know if I was walking on a crime scene, or a woman’s worse day. For breakfast I was one of the first people there. I felt like a child who had snuck out of bed and asked for a glass of water the way the staff treated me . I was scared to grab a muffin or some coffee. Everytime I grabbed something the staff was looking at me like I was in some sort of trouble . ...

「When a burst water main on Decateur street meant the water to our building would be shut off for 10 hours, the Manager quickly organised another room for us and transferred our belongings.」

「I misunderstood the quality of hotel. It’s not good. There’s some rust on things on the room, the air conditioning vent is not clean. The bathroom fan was dusty. A lamp or two was out. There’s a bit of humidity or mustiness especially in the lobby. Everything was clean though and it wasn’t the worst. However, if you can spend a bit more, stay somewhere else. It’s also in a low income area.」

「Our stay here was wonderful! We have atayed at several hotels in the Quarter and this has by far beeen the best. The courtyards are beautiful, the pool well maintained, the rooms clean and the staff so helpful and friendly. The hotel is convienently placed amongst the attractions of the Quarter. The parking/valet is easy. Absolutely will stay here again.」

「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「This place was clean. The property was old and could use some updates and maintenance. There isn’t a restaurant in the hotel. There was a room that looked like it had been but it was not open. There was a bar but I think the front desk guy was the bar tender. Breakfast was good and the ladies working there were super nice. They do only offer valet parking, however it is only $45.00 a night with in and out privileges. That’s pretty good for NO. We didn’t have to Wait long in our vehicle. I’d stay...

「The staff at The Royal can't be beat. I love the old feel of the hotel it made having to walk up the flights of stairs to your room worth it. The courtyard is absolutely stunning!」

「The power was out for over 6 hours. There was zero a/c (July heat!), lighting, elevator to the 12th floor, nor running water (including non working toilets). When the electricity came back on at 6am, there was no hot water until checkout which was at noon. The hotel offered zero communication, zero discount, zero living for the stairs, nothing…」
