「The hotel itself is very clean and in a great walkable area. Close to a number of good restaurants and great bars. Even a few secret spots if you know who to ask. The only problem I had was with the front desk announcing my room number in the lobby. That should NEVER be done for safety reasons, especially as a sometimes solo traveler. Please address this with the staff. If you have written it down on the key card it doesn't need to be said out loud.」

「The room was clean, quiet as long as you keep the window closed (very good sound insulation from other rooms, but traffic noise from nearby road if you open the sliding porch window), king size bed very comfy, and a desk with two chairs big enough for two people each with their own laptops. The pool is very old however, strange-looking water and was smelling weird (neither chlorine nor salt water smell). If you choose the hotel for a clean and comfy room that's ok. Don't choose it for the pool. 」

「Traveling to visit Salem was made easy by staying here at this hotel. My fiancé and I enjoyed our one week stay and we both loved the breakfast variety that they had to offer. The little omelettes with the bell peppers and the waffles were my absolute favorite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I did have a pricing issue because of a check in error, but it was fixed and I was refunded the excess amount fairly quickly. 「Hampton Beach is a fun and unique area. This is a fun and unique hotel. Don’t judge this book by its cover. Rooms are fully renovated, everyone is friendly, parking is easy, no hassles and an easy walk to the beach. We’ve stayed here multiple times and will be back again.」
