「This is definitely a budget hotel without budget prices. When we arrived there was dark hair in the shower and ants all over the bathroom. We pulled out the sofa bed and the sheets were filthy and obviously used and not changed. That bed was unusable. The sheets in the main bed were stained but seemed clean. It was exactly what we needed. My first recommendation is to arrive during daylight hours if possible. The property and coastline are gorgeous, and it helps you get oriented in Gloucester before dark. Once we settled in, we fell in love with the location. The oceanfront balcony was the star of the stay....
