"The stay was great. Room was clean and comfortable and there was a pool. The downside was the continental breakfast was $15.00. I literally had yogurt, coffee and an apple. Parking was $10.00 a night. Both were in the description, but they rake you over the coals for more money. The room charges are already expensive enough."

The Dagny Boston

The Dagny Boston

8/10 Good
"We had a wonderful stay at The Dagny Boston. The location is ideal — walking distance to most of the major tourist attractions, but tucked away enough that you don’t deal with the noise and crowds. It felt like the perfect home base for exploring the city. The staff made the stay even better. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the concierge went above and beyond — securing us a last-minute dinner reservation and offering great recommendations throughout our stay that we wouldn’t have found on our own. We were also impressed after checkout: we’d left an item behind, and the staff tracked it down in lost & found and arranged to have it shipped to us without any hassle. As a nice bonus, the fitness room was spacious and well-equipped, which made it easy to keep up a workout routine while traveling. One thing to watch for: there’s a $35 “Urban Destination Fee” added to your bill at checkout, which wasn’t clearly disclosed upfront. Worth budgeting for so it doesn’t catch you off guard. Overall, a great combination of location and service — just go in knowing about the extra fee. We’d happily stay here again."
