I would say the negative ones say more about the reviewer than the resort. The room was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was professional, hardworking, and sweet. The food and drinks were very good, and the nightly entertainment you’d be lucky to see! I will recommend this place, and come back some day for sure! "

"We booked the Palace, which looked lovely, but Barcelo moved us to the adults only Riviera. And that was amazing. Superb beach and hotel, great service, excellent food and good drinks. "

"When booking this stay I did not know it was an apartment and asked for a refund because l was traveling solo and did not want to book an air bnb. The owner denied me of my refund stating it says it in the booking, but it did not state this info. Also they did not provide any face towels. I was told they lived next door. For sanitary reasons and since they live close I did not think getting a face towel would be an issue and was told they aren't a hotel (which I thought l had booked). They advertise the pool in the photos, but you do not have access to it staying in room number one. The walls are very thin and l could hear all the noise from the neighbors and could not sleep. I left after the first night because of the noise. I went on vacation for peace and quiet, but this was not the right place for that. The place was clean. The location is good. From past reviews the owners will have a rebuttal, but this is my honest opinion. This was not the stay I was looking for. "
