「On arrival the room I was placed in was next to the elevators that was very loud and shook the room every 2 to 3 minutes, I stressed my issue to the staff who wasn’t able to move me that night, but did change my room the next day the new room was better, but the floors carpet was a little sour smelling. I think this time for the facilities to be updated but other than the issues I had everything else was excellent.」

「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「Very nice hotel. Great staff. Love the building history and the location in the French Quarter. I would’ve giving 5 stars across the board, but my only complaint would be the mosquitos in the halls and rooms. Understanding that it rained and is humid the hotel needs to do something about managing that issue better.」

The photos looked great, but the reality was vastly different, with worn-out sofas. Very disappointed. This hotel doesn't even come close to a 4-star standard, and staying here was very unpleasant. Eventually left a day early and switched to another hotel.」

「We had an issue on Saturday night and the hotel had to be evacuated around 11pm. We were asked to exit out into the French quarter with 2 kids and no where to go. Around midnight, the power went out in the French quarter which caused panic to sit in for the kids. We were allowed back I tomorrow hotel room without power around 1am, and power remained off until around 4am. No explanation from hotel staff and we had to follow along to the issue via internet. I feel we should be comped someone for...
