I had the BEST time at the French Market Inn in New Orleans! This place has the perfect mix of charm, comfort, and that classic French Quarter vibe. As soon as I walked in, it felt like I stepped into a cute hidden spot that only locals would know about.
The location is 10/10 — right on Decatur Street, literally steps from the French Market, Cafe du Monde, Jackson Square, and all the fun. I walked everywhere and never once needed an Uber.
The courtyard is honestly the star. It’s gorgeous, peaceful, full of plants, and has this small pool that’s perfect for a quick cool-off after walking around in the New Orleans heat. I found myself sitting out there way more than I expected.
My room was clean, cozy, and had that historic feel without feeling old or outdated. Staff was super friendly, helped with recommendations, and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out.
Only heads up: if you get a room facing the street, it can get a little noisy (it is the French Quarter, after all). But honestly, the energy just adds to the New Orleans experience.
Overall, I’d 100% stay here again. Great vibe, great location, great people. If you want to be in the middle of the fun but still have a quiet place to chill, this hotel is the move!
