Room is small but quaint. Gives you that New Orleans vibe. Perfectly located for walking. Check in person super friendly and helpful. Walked us to our room & helped with our bags. Offered us a bottle of water which we gladly accepted.

Clean Room. Excellent Location, will definitely stay here again due to location alone. The hotel's parking lot is very small though (maybe 10 spots or less). We were lucky it was a slower time, or I'm sure we wouldn't have been able to get one of the spots.

The balcony view was ok - it was too an internal courtyard - so the view was doors to other rooms and a small fountain. The bathroom was small with no counter space. My room was on the 2nd floor and there are no elevators but they carried my bags up and down, which was great!

The room was ridiculously tiny. The bathroom was built in what used to be a closet. There was no chest of drawers or bureau for us to unpack. I absolutely detest living out of a suitcase. There was no decent closet either. There was not enough outlets to plug-in what we needed to charge.

Outside street noise comes through the windows very loudly. Located next to a school. Bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. The jets on the tub were dirty and pumped out junk when turned on. Water was only warm not hot. Tub has to run for 5 minutes beforehand to get shower to be waem and not cold. Found someone else's dirty underwear under the bed when packing our room.

Website says they have parking (for $45/day). They have 3 spots so you have to find your own. The staff can’t direct you to any parking lots. I attempted to cancel my reservation because of the parking and they declined. I found a lot and paid $235 to park. The desk clerk said, “I think we have a lot, but I don’t know where it is” and was the only one working. No hot water. Problems with room keys. Management not on property and doesn’t respond. Place was beautiful, but when you add on what you’ll pay to park elsewhere, it’s not worth it.

Convenient stay in old style building with courtyard and balcony in quiet, safe area near to Jackson Square and the centre of New Orleans. Perfect unless you don't like stairs but very welcoming staff will carry your bags up to your room.

This location was 5-10mins from everything we wanted to see and do (5*). At the time of booking I was unwavering of the "The Originals-TV series" was filmed at the location. We chose this hotel because of the jacuzzi tub. The price was fair but wanted a more of a relaxing soak after our cruise. The bathroom was not cleaned! We advised front desk staff (3*)who tried to help as much as possible (seeing that the cleaning staff had left for the day). The bathroom had hair everywhere. The tub was DIRTY! The front desk staff attempted to clean the bathroom on 2 separate occasions that evening without using a drop of water as well as leaving hair still visible in the shower and on the floors (see attached pictures). The walls are so thin we could hear everything going on outside and inside the hotel. The windows were boarded shut and locked (1*) We have tried to reach management during and after our stay. 5times with no call back/ return email.

It’s a quaint hotel right in the heart of the French Quarter. Be aware the building is 300 years old so no elevators. Be prepared to haul your luggage up several flights of stairs. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.
