「Well-appointed room! Spacious layout with high quality finishes. The staff went above and beyond showing the highest level of hospitality. Cannot recommend The Nickel enough.」

「Breakfasts were fine, but somewhat limited in options. Parking was extremely convenient, as we were able to park right outside the property every day we were there. Location was great. We were able to walk to great dining experiences and the park across the street was a great place to sit and chat. The top floor reading area was also a great place to relax.」

「The carousel parking worked out okay, but it is a little bit of a challenge to enter. The unit is small but super clean and a more than adequate kitchen. We could hear the shower running in the unit above us, which was only an issue in the middle of the night. Overall, very satisfied.」

「Our original room we booked had an issue so they changed our room unfortunately but wavered the parking fee. The inn is in a great location within walking distance to king street. The room has a wonderful basket full of goodies and drinks in the mini fridge that was complimentary which was wonderful! Enjoyed the wine and champagne they offered in the afternoon and evening for free. Lovely inn and highly recommend.」

「Wonderful stay at the Barksdale House! We had a very quiet and restful stay with our small dog:). The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable-we stayed in the standard king. The breakfast was included and made to order-grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, Belgium waffles-all delicious-we couldn’t believe it was no extra charge. Coffee, tea, water and snacks were available 24/7. There was a Keurig machine right outside our bedroom door which was much appreciated first thing in the morning as...
