"Staff were wonderful, but we had an executive room that was in a poor state of repair to the point that the fire safety information had to be reattached to the door. The list of defects were really high from holes in the carpet mismatched furniture door strip on the bathroom door coming off to name only a few. If this was an executive room the mind boggles what the standard room must be like."

"Staff at the hotel were lovely. The room was nice. For £70 a night, including an adequate breakfast you really can't complain. Breakfast items were continually replenished and the breakfast area was kept clean. Would recommend for a short stay."

"Really nice hotel with good facilities and large rooms. Lots of parking space and free EV chargers are a plus. Breakfast was good but could be better."

"Room big, bed comfortable, plenty of storage space. Large bathroom with bath and noisy saniflo toilet. Accommodation old so cant expect modern facilities but corners and windows grimey. Unfortunately room directly above bar so very noisy, no warning about this at check in. Breakfast very nice"

"This is a lovely old hotel with lots of history attached to it. The location is amazing. Very close to the beautiful Pavilion Gardens, the Crescent, and lots of bars and restaurants. A great place to visit for a short break!"

"I stay at this hotel on a regular basis and find it very convenient and comfortable. Last night, the restaurant was unexpectedly busy with a number of large parties. The staff coped admirably and although I was on my own, my meal was served on time and was great. Well done."
