"The front desk manager Benjamin was extremely helpful, polite and delightful. The concierge was spot on with recommending a spa and his follow through impeccable. The cleaning staff were cordial and thorough. The engineer was swift and very capable of fixing our door lock which malfunctioned. The front desk women seemed very timid, cowed and unable to stretch beyond rules that they perceived as rigid."

"I am generally a really big fan of the Sofitel family of hotels and The Sofitel Rittenhouse is no exception. Great location (it's in the center of everything) and superb service. It is an older hotel, so the rooms are little dated and there is obvious wear and tear on the furniture, but the beds are still the best beds to sleep on in the industry (in my opinion). If you don't mind a little retro charm to your hotel, then this place is great. "
